Our last few days together have been full of great learning experiences. 5th grade presented some very helpful inventions at their annual Shark Tank experience.
Super Kids Day turned out to be a great day despite the weather. In fact, the cool temperatures made the day even better. As you can see, our sharks enjoyed it. We are so thankful to our parents and teachers who made this day possible!

Rain or shine, Super Kids Day is on!

Mrs. Rose and our wonderful 5th graders put on the best performance last night. The hard work they put into this show was evident as the show was phenomenal!

Humble ISD will be open on Monday, May 6, 2024. Classes and activities at all campuses will resume, and buses will operate as normal. Please see news release for more information, https://www.humbleisd.net/article/1583977.

Humble ISD will be closed on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Harris County has asked multiple communities in our school district to evacuate. As you know, heavy rainfall caused Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston, Lake Houston, both the East and West Forks of the San Jacinto River, and other creeks to rise. Additionally, authorities are planning a massive release of water from both Lake Conroe and Lake Livingston, which will bring the East and the West forks of the San Jacinto River to major flood stages – impacting many of our staff, students, families, and community members.
While we had planned to wait for an 8 PM weather and flooding update from Houston Flood Control, inundation maps have made any predicted rainfall for tomorrow morning moot. The release of Lakes Livingston and Conroe will give us more water than we can safely handle, so there will be no school Friday, May 3, 2024.
Our 2023-2024 academic calendar included ample state-required instructional minutes to accommodate such a weather-related closure, eliminating the need for a make-up day.
Humble ISD stands ready to support our community.

Shark families, we are so thankful for you and your support of Wags to Whiskers. As a campus we collected 227 items and in the process two cats were adopted! Way to help out our community, sharks!

30 years have really flown by! We are having the best time celebrating our 30th school year here at SFE. Today we all gathered on the playground to make the number 30. Do you see your favorite shark?

Our Sharkapellas put on a wonderful performance for our students this afternoon. Catch the performance again tonight as they share their talents with families.
