We hope all of our shark families had the best time at our Polar Express event last night. I hear that Mrs. Matteson and Mrs. Sanchez made it on the nice list. Did you?

Third grade has been working hard on their upcoming program and they can't wait to share it with their families next week! It's going to be fabulous!

Thank you so much RMS band, orchestra and choir for sharing your talents with us today!

Wow! Our fourth grade sharks work hard and it shows!

SFE staff "Paints the Town Blue" to support our Kingwood Mustangs in their advancement to the 4th round of playoffs. Go Mustangs!

Hey, Sharks! We have an important announcement from our friends at Kingwood High School. For the first time since 1990, the Mustangs have advanced to the Regional Finals, marking an incredible achievement in their historic playoff run.
To celebrate this exciting moment and show our support for the team, we invite the entire Kingwood community to join us in wearing BLUE on Friday, December 6. We would love to see the entire Kingwood community unite to cheer on the Mustangs as they compete in the 4th round of the playoffs.

Thank you so much to the KHS FFA students that brought Food For America to SFE!

Math is always fun here at SFE but it's even better when collaborating with a friend!

It's been a bright, sun-shiny week here at SFE but we are all so excited for a week with our families. Have a great Thanksgiving break and we can't wait to see you all back here on December 2nd!

Good friends, good books and good weather make for the perfect day at school. We love to see our sharks enjoying the outdoors while they read together!
Wow! Fourth grade sharks are proving that hard work and great attitudes pay off. Way to show amazing thinking, sharks!

Last week our fourth graders were able to enjoy a beautiful day at Jesse Jones Park. While there they learned all about what life was like in the early 1800's. They were able to experience life as a pioneer hands-on and had a wonderful day! Thank you to the teachers, parents and volunteers that made this day possible for our sharks!

Congratulations to our Super Staffer of the month, Ms. McKellar! We are so appreciative of your hard work everyday connecting with your students, collaborating with your colleagues and sharing your heart with all of our sharks. This honor is well deserved and we couldn't be more thankful to have you here at SFE!

Third graders are actively involved in the research process by using the books they found in the library to find the answers to their research questions. They are learning all sorts of new facts about a variety of topics that are important to them!
Wow! What a special experience we had in fourth grade last week. A few former sharks came to speak to our current sharks about some of the awesome programs available at KHS! It's always the best to see our sharks succeed as mustangs!
Our third graders know how to use our library catalog, Destiny, to find the perfect non-fiction books for their research.
Mrs. Mavrinac's 1st and 2nd grade students were able to Zoom with Smithsonianβsβ―National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute today to learn all about the amazing animals there and what they need to survive in their natural habitats.
Thank you to all of our veterans and shark families who came out this morning to honor our country's heroes. We consider it a privilege to share this time with you.
