STAAR testing starts this week but we aren't worried at all. When you love reading as much as our sharks, it's guaranteed to be a breeze!

The cloudy day couldn't keep these second grade sharks away! They had the best time learning more about so many different animals during their field trip today.

Today our teacher of the year, Mrs. Lindsey Munn, was honored at the Partnership Lake Houston Teacher of the Year Luncheon. We love any opportunity to celebrate Mrs. Munn and today was no exception!

Thank you so much to our superintendent, Dr. Brown, for taking time to visit our SFE News Crew today. News Crew members were able to show him what they do each morning to produce our daily news broadcasts.

Join SFE on Tuesday, April 7th, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM for a brief informational meeting, meet the Kindergarten teachers, see the classrooms, ride a bus, and enjoy a snack from our cafeteria.

It's always a good day to be a friend. And with weather like this it's even better to enjoy the beautiful weather with your friends!

Calling all graduating seniors! SFE invites all of our former sharks back to campus on May 13th at 2:30 so we can celebrate you with a senior walk and reception!

Just one more sleep until we see our sharks back on campus. We have missed you all and can't wait to see more "playground dances" this week.

We are definitely LUCKY to have so many amazing sharks and shark families here at SFE! We had a great morning with everyone who was able to attend our special person breakfast!

2nd grade Sharks had a great time learning about the environment from Harris County Pollution Control Services!

Way to go SUPER GOATS! You made SFE proud as our representatives at the Battle of the Books competition last weekend!

Did you know that 5th grade teacher Mrs. Goff was SFE's Super Staffer of the month for February? Mrs. Goff does such a wonderful job connecting with her students while building them up to be the best readers and thinkers!
