To make the evening even more exciting, we will have two participation contests:
The class with the most participating students will win a Chick-fil-A party!
The grade level with the highest participation will win a visit from our Chick-fil-A Plush Cow, which will be passed from class to class throughout the week!
We would love for our staff members to volunteer during the event. Each shift is only 30 minutes, and volunteers will help greet our families and tally participating students by grade level and teacher.

*A Chick-fil-A Spirit Night is a community-based fundraiser where a local restaurant donates a percentage of its sales (usually 10% to 20%) during a specific time window back to a participating school, charity, or non-profit organization.
Ending our week with a sweet treat. NBE teachers and staff are so delighted to enjoy a slice our Accountability cake from Humble ISD.
Need help with school supplies this year? Humble ISD has collected donations of school supplies over the summer to help students be ready for the first day of school. School supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last.
The School Supply Distribution event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 7, inside Second Baptist Church, 22770 US-59 in Kingwood.

North Bend Elementary is proud to present our new Principal to begin 2026-27 School Year:
Ms. Trina Gore, Fall Creek Elementary's Assistant Principal, has been selected as the next principal of NBE. Ms. Gore joined Humble ISD in 2024 and has over 20 years of educational experience.
In addition to serving as FCE Assistant Principal, Ms. Gore also served as an assistant principal and instructional coach in Dayton ISD, and as an elementary gifted and talented lead teacher and classroom teacher in Huffman ISD. She earned both her bachelor and master degrees from Lamar University. Ms. Gore is very excited for the opportunity to serve the North Bend Elementary community. She is a collaborative, relationship-driven leader, and we look forward to continuing NBEβs tradition of excellence with her as Principal.
We are so proud of our students for representing our school with kindness, energy, and school spirit. Thank you to all of our teachers, staff, and volunteers who helped make the day such a success. We are looking forward to another exciting day tomorrow!
Our team brought their creativity, teamwork, and determinationβand it paid off! Weβre proud to share that we earned **3rd place in Gunk** and were honored with the **SPIRIT Award** for outstanding sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the competition.
This recognition means just as much as any medalβit reflects the way our students supported each other, stayed positive, and represented our school with integrity.
