Shannon Beaulieu is a Kingwood native, KHS graduate, and Texas Tech Red Raider. She is excited to be starting her first year in Humble ISD with her girls at DWE. Shannon is no stranger to education as she has 12 years of teaching experience in Fort Bend ISD. She has two daughters (Brooke and Reese) who are going into fourth and second grade. She also has a very fast two year old (Tyler) who keeps her on her toes at all times. Shannon has been married to her wonderful husband Bryce for 12 years. She enjoys fishing, roller blading, and being with her family and friends.
Lindsey Mahan is ecstatic to be a Dolphin this year! This will be her 8th year in education. She has taught fourth, kindergarten, and first grade. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, two-year-old daughter, and pug. Her favorite thing about being a teacher is building relationships and watching her students reach their full potential. She cannot wait to share her love of teaching with her 4th-grade students at DWE!
Ms. Payne will be teaching Pre-K this year at Deerwood Elementary. She is a recent graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown where she majored in Education. Ms. Payne grew up in Atascocita, attended schools in Humble ISD, and lives there now with her two children, Dannie and Kyle. She loves animals, arts and crafts, and spending time with family. She is so excited to be a part of the Deerwood Elementary family!

Need help with school supplies this year? Humble ISD has collected donations of school supplies over the summer to help students be ready for the first day of school! Debbie is no stranger to DWE! She loves to help with the POG store and volunteer at as many events as possible. Debbie has 2 boys that keep her super busy - Nathan will be in 1st grade at DWE and Brian has leveled up to 6th grade at RMS! When not carpooling around the Sand Creek area, you can find her in the baseball stands watching her boys play or picking up a refreshing Sonic drink! Debbie has been married to her best friend, Jeremy, for 17 years. Ask her about the time she camped out overnight for free Freebirds for a year! She will be joining DWE at the front desk reception area with Ms. Justice!

Our Great Summer Book Swap started today. Each student from PreK to first grade received at least one book for summer reading today.
We are still in need of fourth and fifth grade books. The dream is for each student to receive a book for summer reading.
