Deerwood's Annual Thanksgiving Feast will be Thursday, 11/20/25. Please note that lunch schedules for that day have been adjusted. Please RSVP using the link below if you are planning to attend so that we can have your badges printed. Additionally, if you plan to enjoy the Thanksgiving luncheon at school, all guest meal tickets must be purchased in advance using the link below. We ask that everyone plan to arrive early as we are looking forward to many visitors.

Mrs. Perkin's 5th graders got a sweet taste of history today! They experienced “Taxation Without Representation” firsthand — paying their classroom “taxes” with Smarties! Through this hands-on activity, students discovered just how unfair it felt to be taxed without a voice.

Kids First is a hands-on program that helps students understand what it might be like to live with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other unique abilities. Students will have the opportunity to visit interactive stations that offer real-life simulations and activities designed to build empathy, awareness, and acceptance on campus.
