Today was a spaghetti sauce day for our Food Drive for the Society for St. Stephens. If you forgot, you are welcome to bring some later. Wednesday's item is canned tuna. Thursday is peanut butter, and Friday is brownie mix. Thank you for helping us to spread kindness into our community.

November 14th is shaping up to be a big day. Please check your Dolphin Mail and teacher newsletters for your specific times for Turkey Trot, Thanksgiving Feast, and book fair shopping (during indoor recess) on this exciting Tuesday.

Just a reminder, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, is an all-student holiday in Humble ISD.

We are grateful for our veterans who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country. Our fifth graders are performing a Veterans Day Program at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 10th. All Veterans and family members are invited to attend as we pay tribute to those who fought for our country.
There will be a breakfast for Veterans to enjoy set up in the music room along with pictures of familiesβ of Veterans displayed in the hallway.

November's Doughnuts with Davies is coming on Friday, November 10th following the Veterans Day program at 9:15 a.m. Join Mrs. Davies for doughnuts and all the news that is the news at Deerwood.

Our Science Olympiad team wore red for Red Ribbon Week as they formulated questions and tested ideas.

Tomorrow, we TEAM up against drugs. Wear your favorite team colors, shirts, or jersey on Tuesday, October 24th.

Red Ribbon Week starts on Monday, October 23. We will wear red on Monday to kick off the week.

BOO at the Barn! AHS, HHS & SCHS FFA presents Boo at the Barn from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, at the South Ag Barn behind Turner Stadium, 1700 Wilson Road in Humble. Admission is a canned food item. Costumes are encouraged! Come enjoy trick-or-treating, chicken bingo, concessions, $5 unlimited inflatables, mechanical bull, and animals!

Ms. Michael is over-the-moon excited to share the results of the first annual Kingwood Doodle Dog Student Art Contest.
We are tremendously proud of all these Dolphin artists. They had so much fun preparing these master works and over 100 students participated! Two of our students, Noah and Sophia, won Best Overall. Wow! Way to represent!
