Our 4th graders created salt dough maps of the Regions of Texas! A little creativity made learning about Texas even more memorable! ⭐️🐬
Deerwood's Annual Grandparents Day will be Friday, September 11th. As a courtesy to our guests, DWE staff will be parking on the street to leave the parking lots open for our special visitors on event day!
Students are welcome to invite a grandparent, a family member, family friend or another special adult in their life. Unlike the Thanksgiving Feast, visitors will be unable to purchase a school lunch, but are encouraged to bring their lunch.
Please make note of our adjusted lunch times for the day.
To make our day go more smoothly, please RSVP for all guests and stop by Deerwood to have your identification scanned before September 11th.

Please join us for Donuts with Ms. Davies on Friday, August 14th, at 8:30 in the cafeteria. Donuts with Ms. Davies is a monthly presentation and dialogue whereby parents and Ms. Davies meet as thought partners to listen, learn, solve problems and exchange information about student learning and campus initiatives. Throughout the year, Ms. Davies enjoys inviting students, staff members and district representatives to join the conversation, sharing projects and information. We value this opportunity for parent engagement as we strive to create an open and welcoming school experience.
