Such a special moment at today's 5th grade farewell ceremony! Huge congratulations to Kennedy and Max for being chosen to receive the Adam Curfiss Award.

This honor recognizes students who show outstanding character, inspire peers and live the Deerwood motto, All Belong, All Learn, All Lead.

We are so incredibly proud of Kennedy and Max for setting such a wonderful example for our school community.

One lucky student won our “Teddy for the Day” auction item. Teddy made the day extra memorable. So many smiles and sweet memories!

A Day to Remember!

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming our special auction winners as they stepped into some very important roles on our campus!

Our Principal of the Day, Assistant Principal of the Day, and Front Office Assistant for the Day did an amazing job!

They helped lead, learned what it takes to keep our school running smoothly, and brought lots of smiles and excitement to the day!

In observance of Memorial Day, Humble ISD will be closed on Monday, May 25.

What a strike of a day! Our 5th graders had an amazing time on their bowling field trip. Lots of smiles and fun memories!

Our 3rd graders showcased inspiring individuals and brought their stories to life during their Living Museum! Students researched and portrayed a variety of influential people. Their creativity, confidence, and hard work truly shined as they shared the stories of people who have made an impact on our world.

We are so proud of all they accomplished and loved seeing learning come alive! Enjoy some highlights from this special event.

Our 2nd graders had an amazing time during Market Days!

Students explored important financial literacy skills by experiencing firsthand what it’s like to be both a producer and a consumer. From creating products and setting prices to shopping and making thoughtful spending decisions, they learned valuable real-world lessons while having so much fun!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Mrs. Paschall! She will be joining us for the 26-27 school year as our DWE Assistant Principal.

We are excited to have Mrs. Paschall join our school family and look forward to the leadership, passion, and support she will bring to our students, staff, and families.

Our DWE News Crew got a behind-the-scenes look at broadcasting! Students toured a broadcast studio at the Instructional Support Center and brought their on-camera skills to life on the green screen.
