Monday, May 4th, is School Lunch Hero Day! Make sure to stop by the cafeteria and let our wonderful school lunch heroes know they are appreciated!

SFE Robotics teams recently competed in the HERO district competion. One of our teams even finished in third placed in game design!

These sharks have worked so hard this year and we are so very proud all of them!

Who is your favorite author? If you want to know more about him or her you might want to ask one of our second grade sharks. They recently conducted some extensive research about their favorite authors.

Unfortunatley Super Kids Day has been postponed to May 15th. We will still have tons of fun with our sharks but we just have to wait a little longer. Update your calendars and we will see you there!

Super Kids Day is this FRIDAY! Don't forget:

Wear your SKD shirt
Bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it
Have a beach towel to sit on during the picnic
Have your Sunscreen/Sunglasses/Hat or Visor. Per school policy, only lotion sunscreens are allowed. K-2 should apply at home before coming to school.

Check out your 1st place overall champs for the Humble ISD Science Olypiad competition. Way to go, sharks! We are so proud of you!

What fun it is to be in first grade at SFE! We have had the best time enjoying learning that inbludes guest readers and hatching baby chicks. We can't wait to see what the last month of school brings!

This summer, students going into 4th through 6th grades can embark on an unforgettable adventure at the Riverwood Middle School Texas Bluebonnet Reading Summer Cam.


Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon, July 21 - 23, 2026, in the RMS Library.
