After learning about 3-D solids, pre-k had fun sorting snacks with the correct solid. After sorting the snacks the children couldnβt wait to eat them. Learning is more fun when food is involved.

The following is important information to help us all have a great day!
Schedule:
9:00-11:00 PreK, Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade Super Kids Day
11:00-11:45 PreK, Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade Picnic
11:45-12:30 Third Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade Picnic
12:45-2:45 Third Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade Super Kids Day
Students may bring their lunch or purchase a sack lunch from the Cafeteria
Check In:
All visitors/volunteers must check in at the Front Office for a Visitor Badge before proceeding outside to Super Kids Day
Visitors/volunteers will not be permitted in classrooms
Limit 2 adults per child
Visitors/volunteers must be listed in Home Access Center contacts. If not, they will be turned away.
Sign Out:
Parents who wish to check their child out after SKD must see the Homeroom Teacher
Siblings will need to be checked out through the Front Office
K-2 students may not attend 3-5 SKD and vice versa
Other:
Sunscreen should be applied at home
Please send a water bottle with your child
Students are permitted to wear hats and sunglasses
Snacks during Super Kids Day are provided by ESE PTO at no charge
Do not send money; there will not be snacks or items for purchase

Congratulations to 4th graders Abe Heavrin and Nicole Williams for representing ESE at the First Tee Golf Tournament and winning 1st place! We are proud of you!
ESE cleaned up at the Humble Elementary Robotics Open this morning!! We had 3 teams compete this year. The prelims were in February and all 3 of our teams earned a spot in the finals which is amazing! The finals were this morning and between our 3 teams we came home with 4 trophies!! 2nd place for video game design, 5th place for code, 10th place overall and 5th place overall. Congratulations!!!!

All Humble ISD offices and campuses will be closed March 11-15 for Spring Break. Classes resume on Monday, March 18, for middle and high school students. Elementary students have a student holiday/staff workday and will resume classes on Tuesday, March 19.

Second grade students had a blast on their field trip to Little Beakers Science Lab!

Our ESE Robotics Team competed in the Humble Elementary Robotics Open Preliminary Rounds on Wednesday, February 22. 134 teams from elementary schools in our district competed for a spot in the finals. All 3 of our ESE teams did an amazing job and ALL of them received an invitation to the finals which will be held on March 23. We are extremely proud of these students and their hard work and dedication!
Spirit Night at Spring Creek BBQ is always a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our school and thank you to Spring Creek for another great Spirit Night!

The tulips have bloomed! These kindergartners were excited about the whole growing process, from bulb to flower!

Students had so much fun celebrating friendship on Valentine's Day!

ESEβs Buddy Club completed their first service project. They wanted to serve the ladies who make our school run: our custodians and child nutrition workers. The students collected snacks and assembled gift bags for them. It was a sweet surprise!

Kinder, first and second grade students had so much fun finding 100 hidden Earnie the Eagles and putting them on the grade level 100s Chart to celebrate the 100th Day of School!

First grade students ended their unit on non-standard measurement with Measurement Man! The students had a great time using inch worms, baby feet, links, cubes and more to record their answers.
