Humble ISD will be OPEN Wednesday, January 17. Road conditions have improved. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.

Humble ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Icy roads are not expected to improve by Tuesday morning and there will be very cold wind chills. Stay safe and warm!
The district will continue to monitor the weather and will provide an update on Tuesday regarding Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Thank you to KPHS FFA students for sharing all about their animals! We loved learning about each animal and all that it takes to raise them.

5th grade students used our Root Robots to code the water cycle and work on their water cycle vocabulary. We love integrating coding into our lessons!

Winter Break is Here! Wishing all of our families a very happy holiday season! Humble ISD will be closed Dec. 18 through Jan. 1. Staff return Jan. 2 and all classes resume on Jan. 3.

2nd and 3rd grade students are loving the Holiday STEM challenges in the Collaboratory! They are building shelves for the elves, parachutes for Santa, building the tallest tree and coding with Dash and Root robots! So much fun!

Student Spotlight is one of our favorite segments of the ESE morning news. Students love seeing themselves and their friends on the ESE News!

ESE's Annual Christmas Caroling was a blast! Teachers and staff loaded the bus and made stops around the community to sing to ESE families. In the words of Buddy the Elf, "The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!"

These 5th graders met their goal of doing 100 acts of kindness by World Kindness Day!

First grade students had fun dressing up as their favorite storybook characters.

3rd grade spent the last few weeks talking about Author's Purpose. This week they persuaded, explained and described all things pie! They ended their week making mud pies!

5th graders had a blast practicing fraction skills on GLOW DAY with glow sticks, neon manipulatives and highlighters.

2nd grade students made character pumpkins!

ESE students love when our Counselor Puppy, Lola, comes to visit!

Third graders created a flower shop business to practice representing multiplication with equal groups and repeated addition. They filled and delivered orders to teacher and staff.
