On this fabulous Go Texan Day, Deerwood is ready to rodeo! Yee-haw!

We have such a fun, busy day on Friday at Deerwood. Our students will participate in the AHA's Heart Challenge during their specials time. Our Out-of-This-World Scholastic Book Fair opens on Friday, and it is a must-see! It is also Go Texan Day, so show your Texan pride! It is optional, but we would love to see Texans wear, cowboy boots, and everything in between.
Please remember to have PE-appropriate shoes for the Heart Challenge.

Big shoutout to the KHS Soccer Seniors who visited PE this week. They joined PE classes and inspired younger students by being amazing role models.

WOW - Kids Heart Challenge is off to a great start! Over the next few weeks, our students will be learning about ways to stay heart-healthy and practicing our jump rope skills for our big event! We challenge you to complete the seven important steps of Finn's Mission on your Kids Heart Challenge page to become a lifesaver today.
