1st Grade
This week in math, 5th graders were asked to show what they know by getting creative. After moving around the room and solving both addition and subtraction with decimals, students then had to take it a step further. Using the pictures under the problems, they needed to work in small collaborative groups and create word problems for those same questions they solved. It allowed them to see the actions of subtracting and adding and not depend solely on "clue words"
