Yesterday, our PE department hosted the annual 4th grade WCE Golf Tournament, where students competed for a chance to qualify for the First Tee-Greater Houston Champions Challenge. We are excited to announce that Nathan Humphrey, Kinsley Makara, and Sebastian Perez have earned their spots and will be representing WCE at the tournament this March! 🎉
A big thank you to everyone who participated—there was a fantastic turnout, and we had a blast playing. We are so proud of all the players and the effort they put in. Go WCE! 🏆⛳️
Congratulations to our WCE robotics teams at yesterday's Humble ISD HERO Robotics preliminary competition. All five teams have advanced to the finals! We are so proud of their hard work!

Ms. Hernandez’ students are bringing history to life with the Root iRobot! They’re coding and plotting the journey of Lewis and Clark, blending math, social studies, and STEM for an exciting project-based learning experience.

Humble ISD is cancelling school due to the potential for hazardous roadway conditions. Humble ISD will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 21, and on Wednesday, January 22, due to the weather forecast. As a reminder, Humble ISD is CLOSED on Monday, January 20, for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Houston beginning at 6 p.m. Monday. “Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous,” the National Weather Service stated. “The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning commutes.”
