Fifth graders Calvin Aasen, Mikey Bauschka, Nate Hernandez, Evan Lyle, Patrick Stiffler and William Wolfe competed at the 2024 Clear Horizons Scholastic Chess Tournament this weekend. Evan Lyle won 4th place in his section and William Wolfe won 7th place in his section.
Congratulations to Willow Creek, Robotics team, Solar Metals. They placed 7th overall in the district for the finals. They also placed 2nd in the district for their gaming concept and presentation. Chloe, Addie, Josh , & Wyatt- Willow Creek is very proud of you!

All Humble ISD offices and campuses will be closed March 11-15 for Spring Break. Classes resume on Monday, March 18, for middle and high school students. Elementary students have a student holiday/staff workday and will resume classes on Tuesday, March 19.

5th grade Mathematicians were hard at work today in Mr. Touchstone's class completing a coordinates "twister" activity! Hands on ( well feet on) lessons are the best!
Humble ISD will be OPEN Wednesday, January 17. Road conditions have improved. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.
Humble ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Icy roads are not expected to improve by Tuesday morning and there will be very cold wind chills. Stay safe and warm!
The district will continue to monitor the weather and will provide an update on Tuesday regarding Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
