our young Bearcats did their thing while competing in the Battle of the Books competition and a major art competition that drew many young aspiring artists. Shout out to Ms. Gruss, Mrs. Bobino, Mrs. Sonnier, Ms. Guzman and Mr. Cavazos.

The Bearcat band and orchestra did their thing at their respective UIL competitions with both achieving the Sweepstakes. Great talent was on display by our young bearcats, way to represent. A special shoutout goes to Mrs. McCallum, Mr. Vasquez, Mrs. Leon, and Mr. Flores.
We made it to Spring Break! Hope everyone enjoy their Spring Break! Classes resume on March 17.

Humble ISD offers a diverse range of Career & Technical Education (CTE) courses to match various interests, including Dental Assisting, Culinary Arts, Barbering, Real Estate, Drone Piloting, and more. In episode 36 of Ask an Expert, Humble ISD Director of CTE Larry Wilson discusses which courses lead to industry certifications, highlights new and expanding CTE programs, and explains how middle school students can get a head start in career and technical education.

We are excited to celebrate Black History Month! This year's theme is Celebrating Black History and Its Impact on the Workforce: Honoring Contributions and Achievement. We will have Themed Dress Days beginning February 17, 2025. We will end the month with our Annual Black History Celebration Night, on February 28, 2025, from 6-8 PM.
