Congratulations to our ten SCHS Cross Country Runners who opened their season at the Will Sermon Alumni Classic hosted by Pearland Dawson. The girls team made the top 5 and the boys took 1st place! Go Bulldogs!

Cameron Cervenka, c/o 2024, continues making history! He is now a ‘22, ‘23, & ‘24 UIL STATE Outstanding Performer for his marimba solo at TSSEC. This fall, Cameron will attend Texas A&M University as an engineering major where he will be playing in the TAMU Symphonic Band and the Hullabaloo Band. Congrats to Cameron - we are so proud of him!
Congrats to Taylor Larkin, c/o 2024, on completing her first law internship this summer! Taylor is attending Harvard this fall and she graduated from the Office of the Harris County Attorney’s Office, Summer Legal Academy. She encourages any student wanting to explore becoming a lawyer or work in the legal field to apply to the SLA program - a great two week paid internship. We’re proud of you, Taylor!
Congrats to Ty Williams! Ty represented SCHS as 1 of 5 percussionists selected to play in the Honor Concert Band with the Honors Performance Series at the Royal Festival Hall in London and sounded amazing! Additionally, he was selected to play in the Symphony Orchestra with the Houston Youth Symphony for the 24-25 school year. He is only the 2nd student from SCHS to play for HYS. We are so proud of Ty!
Hello, Bulldogs! Students’ schedules will be viewable in your Home Access Center Account this evening. Reminder: SCHS will be open Sunday, 12 - 2 PM. Teachers will not be on campus, but students can walk their schedules & find their classes before the first day. We look forward to seeing ALL our Bulldogs August 7!
