BOTH Cayden A. and Stephanie W. qualified to travel to Austin where they competed against the top students from all over the state in journalism events.
Cayden finished in the TOP 12 news writers in the state!
Stephanie Wong earned 3rd PLACE in BOTH headline writing and copy editing in the entire STATE!

Congratulations to Chloe Muniz on being named the DISTRICT and SUMMER CREEK AVID STUDENT OF THE YEAR!! 🎉🎓
Chloe has been a wonderful role model for the AVID Program and was nominated by several teachers and staff members. She has been a trained peer tutor, a member of RICE University Leadership, and instrumental with recruitment at our middle schools. We are so proud of Chloe and wish her continued success!

Chef Jenkins, SCHS, RMS, and Humble ISD CTE leaders were invited to talk about the Top Hat Culinary Competition she created and all the great things that are happening in the Humble ISD CTE department.
