North Bend’s Read Across America Spirit Week
MARCH 4-8, 2024
This week, March 4-8, is Read Across America Week. Here's our dress up days themes to help remember the importance of reading:
Monday, March 4
Reading makes you powerful!
Flying? Laser vision? Invisibility? Anything is possible in a book. Show off your superpowers and dress like a superhero or wear a superhero shirt.
Tuesday, March 5
Reading inspires us!
Reading introduces us to new people and their inspiring stories. Wear a shirt with an inspirational message. Some examples would be:
Be Kind, Girls Rule, I’ve Got This.
Wednesday, March 6
Reading takes us places!
Whether it’s a jungle safari, climbing a mountain, or soaring through space, reading takes us on adventures.
Dress for your next adventure.
Thursday, March 7
Reading is relaxing!
There’s nothing better than finding a cozy corner, a pillow, and a good book. Wear your school appropriate pajamas and get ready to cuddle up with a good book.
Friday, March 8
Reading brings us together!
Reading lets us learn about people and communities all over the world. Let’s show our North Bend community.
Wear your North Bend shirt or forest green for our school.
