We are thrilled to announce our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Ruff! Thank you for inspiring us all and for going above and beyond in your commitment to education. Here's to you & all the amazing work you do!

Classroom Guidance Lessons are presented in the classroom for all students in grades K-5. Lessons teach developmentally appropriate life skills. We refer to these skills as the Great 8 Skills for Daily Life. These skills include Optimistic Thinking, Self-Management, Relationship Skills, Goal-Directed Behavior, Decision Making, Personal Responsibility, Self-Awareness and Social-Awareness.

Attendance plays a crucial role in a student's success and engagement. We had a Cookies & Milk reward to recognize & celebrate those with at least 97% attendance.

These 2 got a firsthand look at what it takes to run a school. They were the winners from the PTA Silent Auction last spring. They stayed busy making announcements, delivering the snack cart to the teachers, & one even called his brother down to the front office.

Polar Express Day reminded us all of the importance of imagination and magic that comes with believing in the impossible. Here's to believing in the magic of the season and cherishing the spirit of togetherness!

Remember career day when you were a kid? Well you probably didn't experience one quite like Career Day at Hidden Hollow Elementary! Dad Eric Behrend, who happens to be a former HHE Roadrunner, talked about his career in Ms. Montes' 3rd Grade Class, but then he FLEW IN with his work vehicle! Eric is a helicopter pilot for HCA Houston Healthcare Air Life. Students got to tour the helicopter and learned all about flying EMS care. How cool is that?! #ShineOn💫

On Friday, December 13, our school will host a special HCA Airlife Helicopter visit that will provide a fun and educational experience for all students. Read more at https://www.humbleisd.net/o/hhe/page/parent-letters-24-25
