We are so excited to share that HHE PTA is bringing author Allie Russell to visit our 3rd–5th graders! 📚
She is the author of It Came From the Trees and Down Came the Spiders, and our students will have the amazing opportunity to hear about her writing journey and ask questions about her books.

We’re including an Amazon link if you’d like to purchase a copy. Students who bring their books on the day of the visit will have the chance to get them autographed! 🖊️📖

We can’t wait for this exciting author event!

Humble ISD will be OPEN Tuesday, January 27. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.

We understand that because of the cold some families may need extra time in the morning and may choose to take students to school rather than have them wait outside at bus stops. To provide flexibility, middle schools and high schools will not record student tardies for the first period on Tuesday. Elementary schools will not record student tardies until after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The district is allowed to exempt first period tardiness due to the weather. However, absences on Tuesday must be recorded due to state education code requirements.

We appreciate your support through the winter storm.
