The Humble ISD Rodeo Art Show is not short on talent! If you couldn’t make it last night, another showing is TONIGHT, Jan. 29, at the Humble Civic Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Humble ISD will be OPEN Tuesday, January 27. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.

We understand that because of the cold some families may need extra time in the morning and may choose to take students to school rather than have them wait outside at bus stops. To provide flexibility, middle schools and high schools will not record student tardies for the first period on Tuesday. Elementary schools will not record student tardies until after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The district is allowed to exempt first period tardiness due to the weather. However, absences on Tuesday must be recorded due to state education code requirements.

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr Day, there will be no school for students or staff on Monday, January 19.

The Humble ISD 2026-2027 District Calendar was approved at the Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, August 12, 2026, and the last day of school for students will be Friday, May 28, 2027.

We have Early Release on Friday, December 19. Dismissals will begin at 11:40. This will kick off the Winter Break. Students will return on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Happy Holidays!

Come join us as we celebrate the official opening of our Enchanted Forest playground. It's today, October 9, beginning at 5PM.

The event will feature student performances, remarks from Principal Angela Bland, and student reflections on what the new playground means to them.

Our annual Groves Sorting Day was a successful event. All new students participated by revealing their assigned groves and house affiliations. Additionally, they learned their respective grove cheers. We have six designated groves: Oak (Red), Elm (Orange), Spruce (Yellow), Magnolia (Green), Willow (Blue), and Pine (Black).

Apex Fun Run event Day is September 11, 2025

Apex Fun Run Evenet Day Septemebr 11, 2025 during Specials. Wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.

APEX kicked off today with a pep rally for the students. Be on the lookout for more information every day about what your child is learning through the program. The ending of APEX is a fun run event that will take place at Insperity on September 11 during your child's specials time.
