Girl Scouts
In celebration of School Board Recognition Month, Girl Scouts from Centennial, Groves and Pine Forest Elementaries and Lake Houston Middle School, along with Scout Leader Ty’Lisha Summers, came to speak and thanked the Humble ISD Board of Trustees for their service and support to public education.
Ross Schadke, Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey’s Representative
Ross Schadke, representing Harris County Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey, presented certificates for School Board Recognition Month to the Board of Trustees, recognizing their dedication to Humble ISD students, staff and community.
Patrick Grant, Precinct 1 Commissioner Rodney Ellis’s Representative
Patrick Grant, representing Harris County Precinct 1 Commissioner Rodney Ellis, presented certificates for School Board Recognition Month to the Board of Trustees, honoring them for their dedication to Humble ISD students, staff and community.
FFA Presidents
As part of School Board Recognition Month, FFA presidents from Atascocita, Humble, Summer Creek, Kingwood and Kingwood Park High Schools presented flower arrangements to the Board of Trustees in appreciation of their service to Humble ISD and the community.
Crystal Medina, AVID Teacher of the Year
Atascocita Middle School teacher, Crystal Medina, was recognized for being named AVID Secondary Teacher of the Year at the first-ever Global Achievement Awards during the AVID National Conference in December.
Julie Gallow, TAEA Award
Foster Elementary art teacher Julie Gallow, a 2025 TAEA Distinguished Fellow Inductee, was recognized for her dedication to advancing the art education profession both at the local level and through the Texas Art Education Association.
Natalie Harris, TAEA Award
River Pines Elementary art teacher Natalie Harris, recipient of the 2025 TAEA Outstanding Art Educator for the Elementary division, was recognized for her contributions to art education both at the local level and through the Texas Art Education Association.
CREST Award Recipients
Humble ISD recognized a total of 72 counselors across 25 campuses who earned the 2025 CREST Award for their outstanding work in fostering student success and well-being across all grade levels, surpassing last year's record of 12 campuses.

Tye Hobbs, TSCA Dr. Patricia Henderson Counseling Advisor of the Year Award
Director of Counseling & Behavioral Services, Tye Hobbs, was recognized for being the recipient of the TSCA Dr. Patricia Henderson Counseling Advisor of the Year Award.
Denise Toro, 2025 Rhosine Fleming Multi-level Counselor of the Year
District Support Counselor-Team Lead Denise Toro was recognized for being named the 2025 Rhosine Fleming Multi-level Counselor of the Year.
