Share the Fair is the giving program that supports students in our school who need help buying books. Mrs. Curry, our librarian teacher, Mrs. Jones, our counselor, and the classroom teachers will work together to identify students who could really benefit the most from what is donated by parents/guardians and community members.

Learn more about the program and how to contribute at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/content/fairs/why-scholastic/share-fair.html .

We will also have at least one after school shopping opportunity during our Open House on the 20th, and possibly a second one earlier in the week (more details to come).

We will close out Red Ribbon Week with our Annual Storybook Character Parade tomorrow - Thursday, October 30 beginning at 9AM! Parents are invited to join along the parade route down Singing Woods to Lonesome Woods and back up through the circle drive.

Parents and other visitors will watch from the parade route to wave, view, and cheer on - no need to check in for this event. Come watch in the beautiful weather as students showcase their favorite storybook characters. Students and teachers will head in and resume a regular day of learning.

Please remember that costumes must be school-appropriate. Costumes with weapons, blood, or any features that may be frightening or disturbing to others will not be allowed.

Students in Mrs. Whitaker’s RELA class are engaging with independent reading at home like YouTubers and capturing it on Wixie. Then, a showcase is shared with parents, posted on social media, or hung outside the classroom for easy viewing of standout work!
