On November 10, Timbers Elementary proudly celebrated Veterans Day with a campus-wide parade and special performance honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. It was a powerful morning filled with gratitude, pride, and Timberwolf spirit.
Our visiting veterans were led through the building by the Wolfettes, who guided them along a parade route lined with cheering students from every grade level. Flags waved, signs lifted high, and the hallways rang with applause as students voiced their appreciation for our local heroes.
Following the parade, veterans and their families were welcomed to a light breakfast before enjoying a program of heartfelt performances.
• First-grade students opened with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.
• Fifth graders delivered energetic cadence calls that brought the crowd to their feet.
• The Wolfettes performed a spirited cheer in honor of those who served.
• Students also shared thoughtful readings and tributes, adding depth and meaning to the celebration.
The event brought together our community in a memorable way, giving students the chance to learn, show respect, and say thank you. We are grateful to every veteran who joined us and to our staff, students, and families who helped make the morning so impactful.
Timberwolves stand proud—today and every day—in appreciation of our nation’s heroes.
