Spring Picture Day is Friday, February 28, 2025. Students will take individual spring portraits and also a class group picture. Be sure to dress to impress! Pastel tones and spring colors will be best. Shortly after picture day, each student will bring home a proof with online ordering information.

We started our celebration of Black History Month off right! Many students dressed up as different Historical Figures in Black History.

We are finishing up celebrating Black History Month with a week full of spirit days! We will also have our program on Wednesday, February, 26th at 5:00pm. Only selected students from each grade level will be participating. Please get with your child's teacher if you have any questions!

Humble ISD is cancelling school due to the potential for hazardous roadway conditions. Humble ISD will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 21, and on Wednesday, January 22, due to the weather forecast. As a reminder, Humble ISD is CLOSED on Monday, January 20, for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Houston beginning at 6 p.m. Monday. “Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous,” the National Weather Service stated. “The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning commutes.”

CYCLE Houston had an amazing morning with us at Park Lakes Elementary on Saturday! Bikes and helmets were delivered to all 98 second graders for meeting their individual reading goals set at the beginning of the school year.

Humble ISD is teaming up with Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) to bring holiday cheer to students in need through the Empty Stocking Seasons of Sharing Drive. Book Fair starts after Thanksgiving Break!
Parents and families are invited to the Book Fair, we are allowing parents to come during the school day to visit the book fair. You will need to check in the front office and only visit the library. You will not be able to pull student during class.
Late Night- Tuesday, December 3rd: Parent and Families will be able to visit the Book Fair between 4:00 - 8:00pm!
