We are so excited about our upcoming 1st Annual Mother and Son Dance this Friday, February 16th from 5:30-7:30pm. This event is only for PLE students and mothers or mother figures. It will take place in the cafeteria at Park Lakes Elementary. Please take advantage and purchase tickets for $7.00 beforehand using the Revtrak link sent to families. Humble ISD is having a free Family Resource and Transition Fair on February 17, 2024 from 9am - 1pm at Atascocita High School, 13300 Will Clayton Pkwy, Humble, TX 77338.
The Humble ISD Health & Wellness Fair will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, at Humble Civic Center. This free opportunity will feature representatives from a range of community providers to help students, families and staff maintain mental health and wellness. Guests will also be able to meet and greet with providers, and have opportunities to win great door prizes!

Teen Dating Violence: Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 6 p.m.
Learn about the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy dating relationships, early warning signs and factors that may increase risks for dating violence and ways you can promote healthy relationships. We will discuss the media's portrayal of healthy and unhealthy relationships and how you can bring awareness to the community in February for Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. Contact campus counselor for more information.
Humble ISD will be OPEN Wednesday, January 17. Road conditions have improved. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.
Humble ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Icy roads are not expected to improve by Tuesday morning and there will be very cold wind chills. Stay safe and warm!

Winter Break is Here! Wishing all of our families a very happy holiday season! Humble ISD will be closed Dec. 18 through Jan. 1. Staff return Jan. 2 and all classes resume on Jan. 3.
Tomorrow is Polar Express day! Students can wear fuzzy socks and school appropriate pajamas.

Winter Holiday Dress Up Days
Friday, December 15th is an Early Release Day and Classroom Parties. We are asking for only one parent/guest to attend due to limited space. Students will be preparing for dismissal starting at 11:30am and we will begin at 11:45am.
Families, today was Day 2 of our Park Lakes Fun Run Fundraiser. This weekend we have a special challenge to help our school raise funds for School Improvements. Mrs. Hernandez, Mr. Ojeda, and Mrs. O'Neal are working on interventions with students. They are using UFli roll and read, working on fr- and br- blends, as well as building CVC words.
We are excited about our Winter Wonderland this Saturday, December 2nd! This event will take place from 10am - 2pm. There will be lots of fun activities, food, vendor tables, raffle baskets & more! Santa pictures will be available for $8.00 from 9am-12pm in the cafeteria.
Turkey Trot!! Is tomorrow November 17, during students Specials times. Parents are allowed to attend. We will not be able to run on the field do to construction, so we will trot in the back parking lot off the cafeteria. Students should wear tennis shoes! No sandals or crocs.
