Today was Tattoo a Teacher Day… well, a Specials Teacher Day! Our amazing Specials teachers teamed up with PTO to raise money for MBE by volunteering as human canvases and letting students cover them in tattoos! What makes Texas special? In Technology, our kindergarten students have been learning about the Lone Star State and its state symbols! About last night… At last night’s Humble ISD's Recognition Board Meeting, our very own Pre-K teacher, Lisa Cooper, was honored as the 2026 Teacher of the Year! Maplebrook Elementary was also recognized for earning a B rating, achieving 11 points of growth, and receiving two distinctions! We are incredibly proud of Ms. Cooper and the entire MBE team. Way to go, Bears!
