Humble ISD is teaming up with Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) to bring holiday cheer to students in need through the Empty Stocking Seasons of Sharing Drive. Real world science in action! The Texas Wildlife Association visited 5th grade Science classes and presented information about the water cycle and Texas water sources. Students were challenged to filter and purify dirty water, simulating an aquifer.

We gobbled 'til we wobbled! Our Thanksgiving Feast was a great time had by all. Students and their families enjoyed a tasty Thanksgiving meal and enjoyed each other's company. We are thankful for our Wildcats and families!
1st graders had a special visit with the Begay family, who shared Navajo customs and traditions! They taught us about their rich culture, served delicious fry bread, and played a video of them singing in Navajo about their beautiful heritage. It was a heartwarming experience filled with love, learning, and connection. Thank you, Dr. Brown, for supporting us!




Celebrating veterans through music! Our patriotic Veterans Day performance included 3rd graders playing tone chimes and boom tubes, 4th graders playing ukuleles, and 5th graders playing violins, pianos, and choir. THANK YOU veterans for your service!



Work Out With a Vet, originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2, has been postponed due to the weather forecast of rain/thunderstorms.
We are looking forward to holding this free districtwide, community, outdoor event at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Atascocita High School .No registration is required.

What a colorful performance by our 2nd graders of “The Crayons Trick or Treat.” The students can do it all at LLE – act, sing, dance, and play xylophones! Another great one under the direction of our fab Fine Arts teachers.
Our Literacy Trunk or Treat Night was a blast! Everyone dressed up (kids, adults, & cars), played reading games, and got some candy and books to take home. What a memorable event for our students and their families!
The storybook pumpkins are incredible! Our talented students turned pumpkins into storybook characters and brought them to life in such creative and unique ways.

McDonald’s Night is Monday, October 28th. Come on out to the McDonald’s near Lakeland between 4:00-7:00 PM that evening and see your teachers working in the restaurant! They’ll be behind the counter, working the cash register and drive-thru, and serving food! All proceeds will go to Lakeland’s PTO.

Students animate characters in Adobe Express to retell Aesop fable "The Singing Wolf." Our students have mad tech skills coupled with the ability to recap the beginning, middle, and end of a story!

Ahoy Mateys! Our 3rd graders' performance of "How I Became a Pirate" was entertaining, funny, and the audience was on the edge of their seats. Shout out to our Fine Arts team - Ms. Lawson, Mr. Gleason, and Mr. Smith!
Our Math Night was a Fiesta de Matematicas! We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month and Math in style! Families went on an adventure through many fun and engaging math activities with a Hispanic Heritage theme. ¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!
Humble High School's Family & Community Services class has adopted Ms. Ramos' 1st graders this school year! Ms. Green's high schoolers will be working with our kiddos once a month on academics and social skills while earning volunteer service hours.

Thanks to the generous donation of Grace Church, we were able to purchase for our students personal hygiene products, clothing, and cleaning supplies that will help throughout the school year as needed. We sure do appreciate Grace Church for making this possible!

The Wildcats support the fight against childhood cancer by learning about the cause, creating banners, and marching in unity around the track in our Gold-Fight-Win school walk.
