We are excited to announce the formation of our PTO to support the staff and students of LHMS. We are seeking parent/guardian volunteers for our PTO Bylaws Committee. If you are interested in serving on the commitee, please complete this form by 8am on Friday, 4/4: https://forms.gle/Ux4atwtZo6zGujXs9 From the names submitted on the list, five parents/guardians will be randomly selected to serve on the bylaws committee.
If you are selected, you will be notified on or before 4/7, and you are required to be in attendance at the PTO Bylaws Review Meeting on 4/9 at 5:30PM. That meeting is only open to those who have been randomly selected for the commitee, and the location of the meeting will be shared with you if selected. During that meeting, the bylaws will be presented to the committee and revised as needed to the agreement and satisfaction of the commitee and the school representatives.
The bylaws will be brought forth for a general membership vote on 4/14 at 5:30pm at Autumn Ridge Middle School in the Cafeteria. The election of officers will occur immediately following the approval of the bylaws. If you wish to run for an officer position with LHMS PTO, please plan to attend the meeting on 4/14. We will follow the Robert's Rules Of Order procedures for "Running From The Floor."
