Lake Houston Middle School is proud to mark a historic moment in its inaugural year as students became the first middle school in the district to tour an Amazon Fulfillment Center as part of a Community-Based Instruction (CBI) learning experience. During the visit, students explored real-world operations, observed innovative technology, and learned how teamwork and organization drive success in a large-scale workplace. They also discovered that Amazon is one of the largest vendors and employers in their local community, helping them better understand its impact close to home. This unique opportunity highlights the school’s commitment to hands-on learning and preparing students for future career pathways. We were also supported by district Assistive Technology for students who needed additional support.

We are so excited to invite you to our "Evening of Shorts" Playwriting Contest on Thursday, March 26th at 6pm where we will be showcasing 5 original plays written by our Varsity Theatre Students!
