NHS officers held a leadership conference after school on Oct. 23. Students were able to listen to coach Eric Coovert talk about leadership before rotating through stations led by the officers.
Seniors Carson Brown and Elijah Merino qualified for the UIL 5A Cross Country State Championships. The two will compete on Nov. 2. This will be the third State appearance for both runners.
