In the summer of 2026, junior Cynthia Vital attended an organization called “Girls Who Code,” where women build their own community and confidence while learning coding methods.
After the experience, she felt motivated to create her own space at Kingwood Park where girls can focus on business and leadership without the difficulties of being viewed as inferior in the professional world. That spark blossomed into the Women in Business club.
“Many people overlook gender inequality but the truth is, it still very much affects our society to this day,” Vital said. “(It’s) not just confined to the business world. Women experience inequality in schools, workplaces and even by their peers.”
