This year, students who want to ride their electric bike or electric scooter to school will have to go through a district-mandated process and receive a permit sticker issued by their school. The change comes after Humble ISD released a new set of guidelines this summer regarding the usage of e-bikes and scooters.
To park on school property, parents must first view a safety presentation and submit a form online confirming they understand the guidelines. Then, the students will be pulled out of class during school to watch a safety video.
