Senior Claire Slaydon has had her license for six months. Her Honda Pilot resides in spot 538, a once boring and grey rectangle is now colorful and bright. Inspired by the album βSongsβ by Adrianne Lenker, she added a small ladybug by the driver's side.
βThat album, I just, I know it back and forth, I listened to it all of high school,β Slaydon said. βI wouldn't say it got me through high school, but β¦ when I don't want to do work, I'll put it on and I'm like, βThis is great.ββ

For those wanting to paint their parking spots for their senior year, the Class of β27 must pay $125 and submit their sketched design application by Aug. 31. Applications can be submitted at the 1600 office, the front desk or online.
Seniors started painting their spots on Aug. 15 with final painting days slated for Aug. 29, Sept. 5 and Sept. 6. Students must bring their own paint supplies and are only allowed to paint in the South Parking Lot.
