FFA students showed out with their results at the Humble livestock show last month.

“I placed fourth in my class this year,” junior Taylor Byers said. “I’m a little disappointed, but overall I feel Rip, my goat, did pretty well.”

As a group, Kingwood Park left the Humble Livestock Show with three reserve champions and six top five finishes in steer, lamb, broilers, goats and rabbits.

“I am very proud of how we’ve done’” senior Katie Tims said. “The rodeo is all about seeing your friends succeed and supporting them and supporting the community, and I feel we’ve done that as a class.”

With the Houston rodeo beginning this week, FFA students are preparing to hit the road again to show their livestock.
