This afternoon, our teachers and staff spent time learning, collaborating, and growing through professional development as they prepare for another incredible school year at Kingwood High School.
Throughout the afternoon, our educators explored the Humble ISD Instructional Framework, strengthened their understanding of High-Quality Tier 1 Instruction, and collaborated on strategies designed to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences. By sharing ideas, reflecting on best practices, and focusing on instructional excellence, our team is committed to ensuring every Mustang has the opportunity to succeed.
The dedication, passion, and commitment of our Mustang educators are what make our school so special.
We started the morning with a delicious breakfast, came together for our faculty meeting, and wrapped up the fun with an exciting campus-wide hunt to recover our "stolen" staff shirts. The teamwork, laughter, and friendly competition reminded us just how special our Mustang family is.
Need help with school supplies this year? Humble ISD has collected donations of school supplies over the summer to help students be ready for the first day of school. School supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last.
The School Supply Distribution event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 7, inside Second Baptist Church, 22770 US-59 in Kingwood.

Our future Mustangs got their first taste of Kingwood High School spirit as they enjoyed performances from our band, cheerleaders, and Fillies, learned a football chant, and experienced the energy that makes KHS so special.
Students then explored campus on tours led by our amazing student leaders, played games, and wrapped up the morning by creating their very own team chant!
