Youth Art Month

Each year, the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) sponsors the Youth Art Month Exhibition at the Bullock Museum in Austin, inviting school districts across Texas to submit a limited number of student artworks created by Pre-K through 12th grade students.

This year, Humble ISD was proud to have two student artworks selected for inclusion in the 2026 Youth Art Month Exhibition.

West Lake Middle School sixth grader Sebastian Soto’s piece β€œBreath of Fresh Air” and Kingwood High School tenth grader Eden Herron’s piece "Don Quixote" were selected for the exhibit.

The students and their art teachers will be recognized at a special awards ceremony March 29, 2026, in Austin.
