Anh Vo was named the Valedictorian, while Zackary Butterfield earned the distinction of Salutatorian.
“Attending Kingwood High School has provided me with a strong academic foundation and fostered the leadership and social skills that will support my upcoming journey at Duke University. Through rigorous courses, I've succeeded by learning how to think critically and how to balance all of my workload, all of which I couldn't have done without the support of every amazing teacher that I've had,” Vo said. “Through leadership roles in multiple organizations, I've learned what it takes to truly be a leader, the value of service, and how to stand up for what I believe in, which has all allowed me to build the confidence necessary to continue to advocate for myself and others. Reflecting on my time at KHS, I'm so thankful for every experience, and most importantly, I'm incredibly grateful for all of the unforgettable friendships and connections that I've made.”
Butterfield added: “It has helped me to gain academic knowledge that will help me prepare for my further studies in college. It has taught the importance of hard work and pursuing my goals.”
