ASL honor society seniors received their honor cords for graduation!

They also received the Alice Cogswell Medal of Honor for community service this year.

Sponsor Amber Krugman is so proud of this group! They went above and beyond this year starting ASL clubs in 4 elementary schools!

They earned their honor cord by maintaining an A in ASL 1 and ASL 2. 

They received the Alice Cogswell medal of honor for their community service this year.  Alice Cogswell was the inspiration to Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet for the creation of the American School for the Deaf in Hartford, Connecticut.

  • They started after school ASL clubs at Bear Branch, Hidden Hollow, Shadow Forest and Greentree.  

  • They visited the Deaf education program at Oaks elementary a number of times to play games and interact with the Deaf students there. 

  • They signed the National Anthem at a number of KHS events.
