✨ Our Non-Varsity Girls Choir earned straight 1s on stage AND straight 1s in sight reading—all with only 7 singers! Even more impressive, they were the only non-varsity group all day to receive 1s in sight reading! 👏
✨ Our Sub Non-Varsity Choir also shined, earning 1s on stage and bringing home a plaque! 🏆
This year marks a special milestone—it's the first time in 9 years that HMS has taken more than one group to UIL, and these students truly rose to the occasion.

Join us at our HMS STAAR Power Up Game Night and Pep Rally on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 PM.
Our pep rally will begin at 5:30pm and then families can participate in our STAAR Power Up Game Night, designed to help students prepare for success on the STAAR and help families learn how to support their students at home.
Students who attend will have the opportunity to earn a 100 formative grade in the class of their choice.
