The 2nd Annual Humble ISD Vaping Awareness Night will be held at from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Atascocita High School. Learn valuable information about vaping from a medical expert and community members.
The Humble ISD Health & Wellness Fair will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, at Humble Civic Center. This free opportunity will feature representatives from a range of community providers to help students, families and staff maintain mental health and wellness. Guests will also be able to meet and greet with providers, and have opportunities to win great door prizes!
Learn about the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy dating relationships, early warning signs and factors that may increase risks for dating violence and ways you can promote healthy relationships. We will discuss the media's portrayal of healthy and unhealthy relationships and how you can bring awareness to the community in February for Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. Humble High School recently received its charter to have a nationally recognized USITT student group on campus. This makes HHS the first USITT student chapter in Houston and the second in the state. USITT is a student organization that connects performing arts technicians with one another and connects students to future opportunities in theatre technology. This honor means our students have an opportunity to develop greater connections with USITT colleges and universities in pursuit of continuing education in theatre.
