Eight Humble ISD visual art students have had their artwork selected to be a part of the Texas Art Education Association’s art exhibit at the 2025 TASA/TASB Conference in September.

Each year at txEDCON, which is being held at the George R. Brown Convention Center this year, an amazing exhibition of student artwork from around Texas is included in the Visual Art Advocacy booth. The exhibit features student work from Pre-K to 12th grade artists.

The following Humble ISD students’ artwork will be included in this exhibit in September:

Elementary

  • Kyle Chavira (Bear Branch Elementary) - 5th Grade

    • Artwork: Printed Botanicals – Teacher: Anne Lynch

  • Evan Medrano Lizarraga (River Pines Elementary) - 3rd Grade

    • Artwork: Color Theory Lion Mane – Teacher: Natalie Harris

  • Faith Thomas (Oak Forest Elementary) - 5th Grade

    • Artwork: Texas Love – Teacher: Leslie Poulin

Middle/High School

  • Kenadi Bailey (Humble High School) - 11th Grade

    • Artwork: Smiley – Teacher: Kristina Nguyen

  • Sophia Fogarty (Kingwood Middle School) - 8th Grade

    • Artwork: Lily – Teacher: Leslie Fernandez

  • Skylar Jane Jordan (Riverwood Middle School) - 8th Grade

    • Artwork: Chuiles – Teacher: Melissa Frye

  • Kailey Oldigs (Summer Creek High School) - 12th grade

    • Artwork: Grazing – Teacher: Ann Parker

  • Ryan Roos (Creekwood Middle School) - 7th Grade

    • Artwork: Ladybug – Teacher Reema Forster

These pieces of art were created in the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school year. The students' grades reflect their current grade.
