The International Baccalaureate (IB) Academy at Humble High School offers students a rigorous, four-year advanced academic experience.
“The IB Academy at Humble High School helps students build strong, four-year high school résumés that stand out to competitive universities and military institutions,” Humble ISD IB Coordinator Rene Lane said. “Through advanced academics, meaningful service, and extracurricular involvement, students are prepared not only for college and career success, but to be thoughtful, globally minded citizens.”
Students in the IB Academy begin pre-diploma coursework in 9th and 10th grade before moving into the IB Diploma Program in 11th and 12th grade. The IB Academy operates as a school-within-a-school, as it is located in Humble High School’s Advanced Academics wing, allowing students to build strong peer connections while still participating in extracurricular activities. District-provided transportation is available to all Humble ISD students in the IB Academy.
