We understand that because of the cold some families may need extra time in the morning and may choose to take students to school rather than have them wait outside at bus stops. To provide flexibility, middle schools and high schools will not record student tardies for the first period on Tuesday. Elementary schools will not record student tardies until after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The district is allowed to exempt first period tardiness due to the weather. However, absences on Tuesday must be recorded due to state education code requirements.
We appreciate your support through the winter storm.

Huge congratulations to Desiree Garcia on being nominated for Teacher of the Year! πβ¨ Ms. Garciaβs dedication, passion for teaching, and commitment to helping every student succeed truly make a difference every single day.
