It’s almost summer, Gator Families!
We hope you can plan to join us for several fun events as we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year. Please read the information below carefully so you can RSVP and expedite your check in process for all events.
1. Talent Show - Thursday, May 21st
Parents are invited to attend the Talent Show if your child is performing. The PK-3rd Grade Talent Show is at 8:30 and the 4th/5th Talent Show is at 1:15. To speed up your check in process, RSVP using the GTE Talent Show Google Form by Thursday, May 15 at 1:00.
2. Grade Level Picnics
Guests are welcome to attend picnics. The picnics will be held on the GTE Playground. It will be warm, so plan accordingly. If you are attending two picnics on the same day, you should keep your guest sticker the whole time you are on campus. If you leave in between, please re-enter through the front doors. Teachers will have sign out sheets and “I’ve Been Checked Out” stickers with them at the picnics for those who want to sign their child out when leaving. Students leaving early will be asked to exit the front doors where GTE staff will verify they have the "I've Been Checked Out" sticker indicating their teacher has documented their early check out.
RSVP using this GTE End of Year Picnic Google Form by 10:00 AM on Friday, May 22 to speed up the check in process. If you or your guest has previously been scanned into our Raptor system, a visitor badge will be pre-printed. Otherwise, you must check in at the Front Office the day of the event to scan your license. ALL guests must have a visible visitor badge while on campus!
3. Grade Level Celebrations
This year, students in Kindergarten, and 5th Grade will have a celebration in addition to their picnic. Grades PK, 1, 2, 3, 4 will not have a celebration. Kindergarten will be on the same day as the picnic, so a separate RSVP is not needed. The 5th Grade Celebration will begin at 8:30 on Friday, May 29, 2026. 5th Grade Parents/Guardians, RSVP using the GTE 5th Grade Celebration Google Form by Wednesday, May 27 at 1:00.
4. GT Expo
GT Students will be able to share their projects with their families during their picnics. The projects will be set up in Mrs. Varnadoe’s Classroom. Mrs. Varnadoe will provide the students with a pass to enter the building during their picnic.
