Dear Parents,
We invite your child to participate in the Greentree Summer Reading Program. We believe that summer reading is an integral part of our program at Greentree. Reading during the summer should increase your child’s enjoyment of reading and enhance his/her reading skills.
All students who turn in a completed reading record in August, will be invited to a special Reading Celebration in September. Students in grades 1-5 will also be allowed to check out an extra book each time that they visit the library next year.
You can find books at the Kingwood or Atascocita Public Libraries, or local bookstores. Your child may count the same books for the public library’s reading club, as well as the Greentree program. Our theme for this year is “Wizard of Oz” Here is a link to the reading tracker , it may also be found on the Greentree Library Website. Teachers in K-4 have been given sheets to send home with your student.
