We are so excited to see all of our Foster Bulldogs tomorrow!
The first day is always a little busy and can feel chaotic because of the excitement, anxiousness, and unknowns. May we all remember to model patience and grace in front of our kiddos. They are watching how we handle and react to things so we need to model PAWS: positivity, accountability, willingness, and safety.
Parents are allowed to escort their child to their classroom on the first day of school if they'd like, but there will be staff members available on all campuses to assist all students to make sure they get to the right classroom.
We will not have bikers or walkers this school year so please remember that the only 3 dismissal choices for the 24-25 school year are: car rider, daycare, or bus. This is important as we want to keep all students safe.
A few tips for WCE, DWE, and SFE to keep in mind if your child is a car rider:
Willow Creek (Kinder):
From Kingwood Drive turn right onto Willow Trace, at Seven Maples make a U turn, finally turn right into the campus visitor lot/front entrance of the building which is called Carney's Ct.
Deerwood (1st):
You can get to DWE multiple ways but to assist with their traffic pattern you will take a left onto West Lake Houston from Kingwood Drive. Then, take a right on Emerald Grove Drive (there is not a street sign on the right side). Next, take a right on Four Pines Drive. Finally, take a right on Forest Garden. DWE is on the left. You will enter the staff parking lot for the car rider line.
Shadow Forest Elementary (2nd):
You can get to SFE multiple ways, but please keep in mind that from Mills Branch you will be turning on Autumn Sage since the Foster car rider line is turning into the campus visitor lot/front entrance of the building (there is not a street sign).
