In addition to free or reduced prices, eligible households can also receive benefits such as FREE tuition, supplies and textbooks for dual credit classes for up to 15 credit hours per semester. Other benefits include increased funding to support student education, technology and internet access, and discounted fees for SAT, ACT, and AP testing, along with scholarship opportunities and college applications.
Remember to complete the application to qualify for free and reduced meals for this school year. Households must reapply annually in order to be eligible for free or reduced priced meals. Applications are provided online at https://www.schoolcafe.com/, or paper applications are also available at the Child Nutrition Services Department located at 1705 Wilson Road, Bldg. D.

Do you need to apply for free and reduced meals?
YES, you should apply if:
Based on income, you believe your family will qualify to received free and reduced benefits, but you have not yet submitted an application;
Your student has SNAP or Medicaid but you have not received a direct certification letter; or your student received free and reduced benefits from last year’s eligibility, but you have not yet submitted an application.
NO, you do not need to apply if:
You have already submitted an application for this school year, and/or you have received an eligibility notification for ALL students in your household; or
You do not wish to apply for free and reduced benefits.
If any of your students are missing on a notification, please contact Child Nutrition Services at 281-641-8471 with the student ID numbers of all students in your household so that Child Nutrition Services can extend benefits to any students who are missing.
