As your child begins their journey into kindergarten, one of the most important steps we can take together is participating in an early screener assessment. This screener is not a test in the traditional sense - it is a simple, child-friendly activity that is impactful and helps us understand how your child is developing in key areas needed for school success. The EPI school supply kit information for the upcoming school year is now available! These pre-packaged kits are a convenient way to ensure students have all the supplies they need on the first day of school. Please see the attached flyer for details on how to order and important deadlines.

All 5th graders are cordially invited to attend the Timberwood Panther Band Instrument Placement Night on April 16th! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity in which your student will get to play 11 different instruments. You can contact Mrs. Dewees at ddewees@humbleisd.net if you have any questions. Go Panthers!

Interested in referring your kinder student for gifted services? The referral window will be open March 1-31. Please scan the QR code and follow the prompts to refer your kindergartener when the window opens on March 1st.

Classroom Photos, & Spring Picture Day is coming on Thursday, March 5, 2026

It’s time for classroom group pictures! On the same day, every student will have an individual spring portrait made. Be sure to dress your child for a 3/4 length portrait. Pastel tones and spring colors will photograph best.

First grade celebrated the 100th Day of School!

The Humble ISD Rodeo Art Show is not short on talent! If you couldn’t make it last night, another showing is TONIGHT, Jan. 29, at the Humble Civic Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Humble ISD will be OPEN Tuesday, January 27. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.

We understand that because of the cold some families may need extra time in the morning and may choose to take students to school rather than have them wait outside at bus stops. To provide flexibility, middle schools and high schools will not record student tardies for the first period on Tuesday. Elementary schools will not record student tardies until after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The district is allowed to exempt first period tardiness due to the weather. However, absences on Tuesday must be recorded due to state education code requirements.
